HASHER HUMPER HABADASHER INFO: As some of you know, we are having problems with the white lettering peeling off on the blue and green shorts. The supplier is aware of this problem (I called very quickly!). If you bought a pair of the blue or green shorts this summer and the imprint is starting to peel off, please return the shorts to me and I will give you another pair or refund your $12. *Please* wash them first! I am returning all defective shorts to the supplier. The problem seems to be in the shorts with the mesh lining, but if anyone has the longer length and the white imprint starts to peel, please bring them back also. Sorry for the inconvenience. By the way, wash according to label instructions! On a happier note, have you seen our new on on feet mouse pads? For only $5 you can make a hash statement at your office or home. Always stop by the White House H3's hash outlet to see what's new and what's on sale. You never know if you will find that perfect gift for your hash sweetheart!

PERSONALIZED HASH BASEBALL CAP: OPPORTUNITY: Ownership of a personalized hash baseball cap (your hash name or you (just) name or whatever you want to say on the back of a hash baseball cap). OPTIONS: You select the color of the hat. Color options were based upon a scientific survey and my gut feeling about white. (The top 3 choices in a recent WH4 Mismanagement poll were forest green, navy and denim. White was also added due to its popularity at the Mount Vernon Hash). The front of the hat will be adorned with White House Bunnies and "YOUR PERSONALIZED" words of wisdom will adorn the back just above the strap. COST: The total cost, hat with bunnies on front and personalized name on back is $12.00 (cheap by a any yardstick). HOW TO ORDER: See BIG BIRD TURD (The Other Bill Wagner) to get an order form, fill it out analong with $12.00 for each hat (yes money up front). I will prepare all of the paperwork and coordinate the purchases and delivery via Hasher Humper (I am doing the point of sales work stuff, so don't bother to ask her questions - SEE ME). HOW LONG WILL YOU WAIT TO GET YOUR HAT?? : Approximately 2- 3 weeks from time order is submitted.

WH4 SUPER BIG 600th WEEKEND 24 through 26 July 1998. Can you believe it FOUR (4) HASHES ONE (1) PARTY, and ONE (1) each Pub Crawl, Fat Boys Recovery, and a Monday special. Mark your calendars and check out the details inside. Make sure you get the info and pay early NLT July 6th to get a SPECIAL DEAL, otherwise you pay BIG BUCKS.

RED DRESS WEEKEND COUNTDOWN: The Fifth Anal Washington DC Area Red Dress Run will be Saturday, September 12, 1998. The hares will be S'not, Burnt Sox, Blank Check, and Pay Per View. This is without question the best, most fun run of the year. But this year, we plan a full weekend of Red Dress Events: Friday, September 11 will be a full mOOn pre-lewd hash hared by the Killer Bs (Black Box, Big Bird Turd, Beltway Bob, Boothe Babe, Bonnie Brewer, Blue Balls, and the Bushes--Bavarian, Bramble, and Burning). Sunday, September 13, White House will sponsor a recovery hash and champagne brunch. All three hashes will start somewhere in the DC area, end somewhere in the DC area, with trail somewhere in the DC area. So make your plans now, start shopping for your dresses, and tell all of your out-of-town hashing friends. More details cumming soon. Next week: a little Red Dress History from Harddrive.

View from the Pack

It was a marvelous day to hash in the Nations Capital. Well that's how I felt before the Marine Corps marathon tune-up. We all gathered at Washington Circle, paid our $3 and socialized with our friends until Had A Madam called us to circle. We all circled around the monument and The Mad Am lead us in the Fatherly song. It was good and we all got a chance to stretch and prepare for the adventure to come.

After a few instructions (which I couldn't hear) we were off down New Hampshire. All I remember is Trouser Snake with that BIG squirt gun (which squirter was it guy????, your el natural one or your el plastic one???). AS we approached the Kennedy Center I came upon "The Lady In Black" not MISS Patty but Latin Analyst, and the Fire And Ice lady in her MVH3 569th BUNNY HUMPING shirt. About this time I felt frisky and began to speed things up; I quickly passed Slip Knot, Micro, Stained Sheets, Spits It Out, For Sale Or Rent, Cyclops (in his absolutely obnoxious PUSSY GREEN SHORTS), Celtic Climax and Kiss as I crossed the MIGHTY Potomac on the Roosevelt Bridge. Shortly there after I began to cross a wooden bridge and saw, said hello to, and passed; Stool Sample, GBOF, Bramble Bush, Noah's Arc, Champagne Charlie and Tick Cock; they seemed to be enjoying the stroll as we ran up and over the GW Parkway enroute to Rosslyn. I then encountered Had A Madam and Dumb Blonde (who was running backwards for some strange reason, why was I not surprised). As we passed the G-Town Bridge on our left, I saw US Boobs and Oral Report and Heimen Dick Over charging up the hill toward who knows where. It just goes to show you, Oral Boobs and Over Dicks don't have a clue. As we wandered through the News Museum I encountered Hurly Girly Mon, Harem Scarem, (just) Cosmo, Running Bavarian, a GBOF clone, Wilburrr, Beatie Eatie (California Summer Person I think), (just) Gentry (who was resting by holding up the News Museum gate for some strange reason), and Bug Eyes (who was running on this hot night in long running pants). I then felt this GOOOOD feeling as the ass patter Blazing Straddles passed me with a sweet pat on my back side. THANKS lady I always enjoy your sweet gifts. As we entered a hilly portion of the course leading up to the beer stop (boy were there lots of hills in this one), I saw 3 Times A Lady, Agua Nino, and Bite Me Elmo (she gave me some BIG TIME lip as we encountered each other, something about the humidity and her hair and the heat and here attitude). Anyway, I was then passed by the late again boy Puts It Out (boy was that gut out to catch up with the pack or what???). FINALLY I saw the Beer Near mark and said to myself, "I think I can stop NOW".

At the beer stop I got a chance to wander among the wankers and observe some the most deviant of all behavior: Rubber Maiden was hitting on all the girls with his massage line, (just) Katrine was practicing her German, Rude Boy was telling everyone who would listen "hell no this trail in no good because it's too damn long", Black Box hocking the next full moon run, and You're an Axel (GM from San Diego) was over selling the SD Red Dress Run (we all know it's only the second best Red Dress Hash in the world!!!!). After about a 15 minute stop we were off, as I wander up the NEXT hill I said "hello to Watergate and she said "fu*k you, I'm still looking for a few good men" to me, boy I must have really pi**ed her off at some point. I yelled RU and got a response of "yes we are", so I moved on away from that Water Lady. I then realized that we were going to run through Bardo and then bend back down toward the river (will this insolent hash never end). What to my surprise should I see, none other than the MVH3 Steamer Man and his trust mutt (Little Lucy). Steamer was out for a doggie walk and what do you think he saw (yes flour and hairs arrows and all of the other hash markings of the day), so it came as no surprise to him to see all of us. I chatted with Steamer for awhile and then picked up the pack and was on trail again. As I closed, I saw this lady with a Light Blue back pack and said to myself she looks very familiar. Low and behold it was none other than our one and only Late Comer (the queen of lateness). She was walking with Latin Analyst, and neither one of them seem to care much about the hash. It was now time for the Rosslyn skyway hashing trip. I passed Noha's Arc, and For Sale Or Rent, and as I began to wander toward the Key Bridge I started to talk to Stool Sample. I said "Happy Hash Day to you" and he replied with the same. I then saw Dogie Butts, Back Puller, (just) Marie a virgin, Dirty & Hairy and Wilburr. After crossing the bridge the hash wound up hill, down hill, then up an alley to the second and last beer stop. As I was running up the cobble stone street, I asked our (just) Police Lady Carrie if she wanted to get beat by a man; her reply "I won't let an old man beat me" and she didn't. I observed Leisure Suite Larry short cutting to the beer stop, can't blame him for that bit of smarts. As we passed the Ukrainian Embassy on lower M Street I was hoping to get a beer SOON. But before the beer, I had to endure the site of a BIG dead rat in the middle of the trail (our hares had marked the trail with the rat, what pervasion).

At the beer stop I caught sight of Drinks On Me Bud for the first time. Boy is that boy a magician on trail. Drinks was singing Wilburrr's love song "Love is in the air for Wilburr and Louie POO", I sort of enjoyed the tune myself. Another late comer I observed was Put The Bitch Down, maybe the 6:30 starts are cramping the style of some of our studs, who knows???? I also talked to John Handcock who was in for a quick one before returning to the Vineyard up off of MASS.

We were then off down the toe path along the canal. As I passed (just) Carrie she really moved her B*TT out!!!, hey gal you got a gender thing there??? We then went up an alley through a store and come out on M street. I observed Fire & Ice, Stained Sheets, Tore Ass, and Noha's Ark moving along toward the end. Finally by the Bistro Restaurant I picked up an ON IN mark. As I turned on 21st and passed TGIF's I kenw we were almost done. The ON IN markings and arrow point to the alley behind Froggy Bottom was the dead give away. I was DONE!!!!! See Black Box's "View from the rear" for more info on the hash. On On On until next week.

View from the rear

When I woke up Monday morning, I checked the weather report for the day--sunny, warm, and then thunderstorms in the late afternoon. Of course there would be thunderstorms--it was a hash night! I then sent off a message to Big Bird Turd asking him if he was perhaps a mystery hare, since it was supposed to rain and this would make three weeks in a row for him. As it turned out, the weather was beautiful, and Big Bird was NOT a hare. Coincidence? You be the judge.

Since Mellow Foreskin Cheese was still out of town, I convinced Stained Sheets to give me a ride to the hash. We got lucky--no, no, not that kind of lucky--and found a parking space about 2 blocks from the start at Washington Circle. Since Stained Sheets is even more anal than I am (if you can believe it), we arrived at 5:45. But we weren't the first ones there - Spinal Tap was waiting for us having arrived on his motorcycle. As more and more people showed up, Blazing Straddle was no where in sight, and everyone kept cumming up to me wanting to give me money, so I finally relented. Oh yeah, I also signed them in with the able assistance of Working the Bar. Funny, though, I was sitting there with the signin sheet, Working the Bar had the cash - a system that Blazing Straddle and I use EVERY week - and yet, people kept trying to give me money instead of to the person holding the cash. Get with it people! Whoever has the cash is the one you give your $3 to, not the person with the signin sheet. Blazing Straddle finally arrived and was relieved to see soooo much organization in her absence.

I approached Yeast Injection, one of the hares, about the short cut for the walkers, who were all expecting a ride on the Metro since we had been instructed ahead of time (who said "head"?) to bring a fare card. Yeast Injection tells all of the walkers to take the Metro to Courthouse, get off and walk down--and this is what was important--16th Street towards DC--where we would then pick up trail and find the beer check. OK, we can do this. So all of the walkers--and there were about 15 of us--walk over to the Foggy Bottom Metro and arrive just in time to see the Orange Line train leaving the station. So we wait, and wait, and wait. Finally, our train cums, we all pile on, and ride to Courthouse. After we pulled into Courthouse station, Bonnie Brewer yells "On Off" and On Off we go. Of course, as we exit the station, we notice that we are on 15th Street, so we all cross Clarendon Blvd., Wilson Blvd., and Key Blvd. looking for 16th Street. Only there is no 16th Street. The next street we find is 18th Street. Whoa, what a minute! Did we somehow miss the turn? So we all turn back towards the Metro station and walk across Key, across Wilson and across Clarendon back to 15th. Finally, Watergate asks a woman who had stopped on the corner where 16th Street was, to be told that it was one of those streets that didn't go all the way through, and we would need to walk down 15th Street for a few blocks and then cut over to the left. Thanks Yeast Injection for your incredibly sh*tty instructions. Well, our little parade starts down 15th Street, and spot hash marks. Yeah! We then run into Stool Sample, who is soaking wet with sweat, and looks completely lost. He said that he couldn't find the beer check. Now Eat It Raw asks him if that is because he lost trail or there is no beer van. Stool says he lost trail, and we immediately point to the flour on the ground. Oh yeah. Well, within a few blocks we see the assembled crew drinking in a parking lot. As we turn the corner to join them, who do I spy walking towards us with his dog pulling him towards the beer, but Steamer. Seems he was just out for a walk, when he and Lucy smelled the beer, and went, "Hey, its Monday, maybe WH4 is having a hash nearby!" Well, he was right, and stopped and had a beer with us.

At the beer check, I gave Yeast Injection lots of sh*t for his wonderful instructions, and was almost afraid to ask about the trail back. He finally said that the walkers had two choices--either take the runners' outbound trail backwards to the start or follow true trail. If we took the first choice, we would miss the second beer check. I asked him which was shorter and he said both were about the same length. Duh! We all agreed that if beer was being offered on one, we knew which way we would go. By this time, Goofy had decided to walk the rest of the trail, since his foot was bothering him. So he and Just Jennifer and I follow the pack from the beer check down Clarendon Blvd to the skywalks in Rosslyn. We then cross over Key Bridge into Georgetown. We saw the pack in front of us, and after we crossed Key Bridge we decided to take the fastest route back to the start--straight down M Street. As we were passing various shops, I mentioned that I had just gotten my red dress for this year's run (at the Salvation Army on Little River Turnpike), so that got us talking about dress styles, the fact that Wilburrr was going to have a sale of some of his awarding winning outfits, and what would look best on Goofy, etc. [It's scary that we could even have this conversation without thinking twice about it.] Well, we kept seeing the pack paralleling us to the right near the canal. True trail then cut up to M Street, across the bridge over Rock Creek. As we are making our way through the real people out for a stroll that evening, we hear a loud obnoxious voice behind us. Turns out to be newlyweds Just John (who would lose his "just" status later) and Perky. Just John was favoring his foot too, but didn't want his lovely bride to think he wasn't manly, so he just kept running. No pain, no gain. Of course, he also kept banging into metal street signs--we figured he was doing that to take his mind off the pain of his foot. He said later that the faster he ran the sooner he would get to the beer. Well, he was wrong, since the beer van was NOT at the end when we arrived. Fortunately, it pulled in just after Wilburrr drove his truck with all of our bags to the end, so we had clean, dry clothes and cold, wet beer. Not a bad ending, all in all.

On On for another week. Black Box

View from the Circle

It was a joy to FINALLY reach the finish, but alas where was Shitty-Shitty-Bang-Bang?? It was a lonely sight and feeling to enter that dark and damp ON-IN alley court and be ALONE (except for a few hundred of your favorite hasher buddies, but that DOESN'T MATTER when you have NO BREW!!!!!) . But it was OK because I and several of the other wankers who finished toward the front of the pack went to pick up a change of clothes, or in my case a change of clothes and the TRASHES and my BOOK OF RECORD. I also secured a mild cigar, of which I lit and began to truly enjoy as I wandered back to the circle site. I saw the walkers coming in and last but not least was Perk A Set, with her new virgin (just) Donita. After I arrived back at the alley site and saw that Shitty Shitty Bang Bang had arrived, I got situated began passing out the trash and looking for a brew to relax with. I also passed out the personalized hat forms, and Spits It Out was passing out the info and forms for the 600th run in late July. The members of the group who had not already got their act together, quickly gathered their things and began to change into some drier stuff. The overall tenor of the group was good, in fact I actually think most of the crew who did the entire trail had a good time. I even observed Hasher Humper selling her goodies, now I knew all was well with the hash, and it was obvious that the circle was soon to happen. Spinal Tap, Cyclops and Had A Madam, called the group to circle. Had A Madam then called the hares forward: Yeast Injection, and Trouser Snake came forward to BE RECOGNIZED. All present were then asked to answer that old question of "What did you think of that run?", as all hashers have come to understand the age old response of "What a Shitty trail!" sprang forth from the group. After some solemn deliberation Spinal Tap, Cyclops & Had A Madam asked for a song (which was "Why Were They") and the hares drank, and the sight was good. Had A Madam then called the Virgins forward, we had LOTS and LOTS of VIRGINS this week. Their vitals are listed below:

NameWho Made Them Come Temporary Hash Name
Donita Perk A Set She Missed The Erection
Paul (just) Sharon Mustache Rites
Morgan (just) Paul Likes It Fast
Tim Followed Her "Black Box" Loves Peppermint Patties
Alex (just) Michelle Erkill
Marcie (just) Peter Requires A Condom
Marcia Loves Me Tender Loves Me Rough
Renetta Genital Abrasion Marks
Beach My Sister (incest) Sandy Crack
Mike Crisco Likes Em BIG
Gretchen My Sister (incest #2) Loves To Use Crisco
Ted No One (his hand??) Secret Sauce
Spencer (just) Ted Bianco Butt
Eian Hurly Girly Mon Muff Diver
Cosmo Great Balls Of Fire Cramer
Mark Great Balls Of Fire Hawaiian Puke's Brother
Dillen (just) Michelle Penicillin Paul
Matt (just) Michelle Rug Burns

Had A Madam then asked for a note, and they drank to "Why Were They Born So Beautiful", it was a mass confusion as the entire VIRGIN Class of the 597th run attempted to down the beer ALL at once. But it was FUN to watch!!!!!!! Welcome Virgins, come often. We had 11 VISITORS, and they came and went SOOOO fast that I only got the vital on a couple of them there visitors, here's the ones I got (1) (just) Mike from Bahrain, (2) Kiss from Tidewater, (3) Barman My Ass from Sipan, (4) Cock Pit from Albuquerque, (5) Barbie Q from Australia. There were also a lot of long time NO SEES, in fact eight: (1) Watergate, (2) (just) Jennifer, (3) Axe Hole, (4) Fu*k Me, (5) Die's Deadly Dil Do, (6) Camel Jumper, (7) Beastie Bush, and (8) Naval Exposure. We sang they drank, it was nice to see those guys and gals in the circle downing some brew once again. YaAll come back more often, you hear now.

We had two special occasions, 100 run mugs for two of the EXTRA special people in the hash. One being Amnesia and the other being Deep Goat. As we sang, and they drank, I said to myself boy, that's really SPECIAL!!! In addition we had (just) Christine drink for losing her glasses on trail (dropping them in the mud) and Costing A Bag (I can't read my scribbles very well).

We had a solemn event; A NAMING. The lucky person was (just) John. He is the other half of the Perky and (just) John team. Perky told us all about his honeymooning activities and that was all we needed to let the options flow. The assembled masses were really into this event as evidenced by the options, which included: (1) Pussy Pusher, (2) Crisco, (3) Pussy Lover, (4) Purple Pussy eater, (5) Pussy Nymph, (6) Pussy Galore, (7) Grease- Go, (8) Pussy Feeder, (9) Back Door Pussy, (10) Little Frisky, and (11) Grease My Pussy. After mush pomp and circumstance, the winner is

Grease My Pussy

May you live, multiply and prosper with such a fine hash name. To honor this new name Had A Madam lead us in the song "20 Toes", and Cyclops poured the brew over his head as he drank, and it was GOOD. Greasy Pus, may you leave with the understanding that you were had by both Perky and the entire WH4 at the same time on this fine June evening. It is now a done deal, enjoy it man!!!!

Just as we were calling All VIRGINS for a day forward and having them get on their knees for a round of chugs, the Campus Rent-A-Cops showed up with lights a flashing and guns a toting. Boy were we all afraid, the long arm of the law was now among us. This CUT SHORT our circle, we had limited violations and skipped the hashit for the week. We even were in the process of recognizing our FAITHFUL brew crew people, Vomonatrtix, Wher The Fuc R We, and Rude Boy. Sorry, we didn't get to give you that special something in the circle last week, but we REALLY care and appreciate you hard work, THANKS form all of us to the few of you who get the job done week after week.

Awarding Of The Hashit

Tick Cock brought the hashit and carried it with honor and pride during the hash, but alas because of the GWU Cop Bust we were not able to award the stick this week. Therefor, for one more week the Cockman will continue to display it. See you next week guy!!!!!t ,

View from the ON ON ON

The ON-ON-ON was held at Froggy Bottom on Pennsylvania Ave NW. This is the same place that Pussy Whipped used for the Full Moon 10 bar pub crawl, and for those who were there many of the crew got carried away. In fact Bad Dog, brought a few of his YOUNGER female friends and tried all night to get them tipsy (for what reason I am not sure), with the tipsiest effort coming at the bar. SOOOO I was waiting to see what was going to unfold at this after hash funfest. Our deal was ½ price pizza and reduced price pitchers of beer ($4.95 & $6.95 for the good stuff). Unfortunately it was crowded and hot when we arrived so many in the group were disillusioned. Also the establishment was not organized and it took awhileeeeeee for them to catch up with our INSTANT demand for beer and pizza. We lost a few of our group to the Old Brogue, but alas we can not keep them ALL happy. After a couple of hours of GREAT companionship, the crowd thinned and the hash was history for another week!!! Can't wait to next week!!!!

In my CONSTANT REMINDER section I would like to thank The Rain Gods for NOT jumping on our parade this week (maybe it didn't rain because I was not hairing this week, what think thee?) I am getting a lot of wining about people not getting recognized in the trash, WELL I APOLOGIZE TO ONE AND ALL, "I love you all and am sorry if you don't get the enough ink".

Is there anyone else who wants to be included in the trash EACH WEEK, if so let me know and you will get in my CONSTANT REMINDER section.

On On, Big Bird Turd
